Every culture seems to have produced some type of mask – even though they can be wildly different. I think that as human beings we feel the need to step out of ourselves in order to express the unexpressable, to be what is unacceptable in orderly society: animalistic, sanguineous, unapologetic. But what would modern masks look like if we were to reflect contemporary myths and fears?
