POLYPANTA
Deep within the coral jungles of Polypanta lies the Castle of Nymbrea, bursting from the seabed like a coral. The castle pulses with life, its bulbous towers sheathed in scales and orbs, its surfaces alive with texture—like coral and sea-anemone and sponge all singing in unison. I pass through an archway that ripples as I cross it. The structures curve and coil as though shaped by the dreams of deep water spirits. The colours shift with the light—candyfloss pink, stormy turquoise, ember orange—never still, always breathing. Creatures peer from latticework windows, not afraid but curious, as if I am the oddity here. I smile.
