This was the winning artwork submission for the Summer issue of AI Planet Magazine.

The main theme is Suburbia, reimagined with an unexpected twist. I wanted to grasp the desire for safety expressed through living in a suburban neighbourhood, that can have its shadow in over-control. I depicted classic suburban scenes where everything has to be managed and perfect, like in a model – which is what inspired my style for this challenge. I also wanted to play around with texture and see how that impacts the scene visually.
