WILD AT HEART

These are works from an ongoing study about what is folklore today and what will it be in the future. My attempt is to revivify traditions by re-imagining folklore aesthetics in a way that better resonates with who we are today. In this example, I am updating shapes, textures and materials used for “props”; I believe these are an essential part of ritualistic action, as their role is to crystallise a symbol in the material plain that would otherwise only exist in language.
